CONCRETE & PAINTING
The Building Projects Committee, headed by Jeff Rolland, and the Executive Committee, has approved the contract for concrete completion and garage repairs..
Concrete completion work will begin Feb 25.
The painting contract is being reviewed by the Attorney. Planter solution has not been resolved..
We owe the original contractor no more money, are able to keep the $100,000+ retainage monies and are pursuing all avenues available to us for getting reimbursed for damages, liens from his unpaid suppliers and the differential in what he would have cost to complete the work vs. the new contractor, who now has to do extra work due to the time elapsed.
Jeff has an excellent committee and they are moving forward as expeditiously as feasible while being very aware necessary caution.
We have a very notable and competent attorney and Jeff, Michael and I work very closely with him on when to, how to and what to move forward for our overall best interest for the owners, residents and the overall building.
